Lena is a finished heel/breakaway horse. She has been a heel horse most of her career, but for the past 3 years I’ve used her for breakaway. She’s as gentle as they get! Solid in the box. She’ll take care of a beginner, and step it right back up for a more advanced rider. She’s been used as a backup barrel and goat tying horse, but I wouldn’t call her completely finished in either area.
Lena is around 15hh and stocky. Don’t let her age fool you! She still feels and looks like a young horse. Lena is an easy keeper, and never required any maintenance. Super laid back and easy to get along with. I’d love to see her go to a beginner or someone wanting to learn to rope. She’s the perfect babysitter!
