Directions From Jackson, MS Travel South on US Highway 49 approximately 98 miles, going through Hattiesburg. After passing the Elks Lake Road turn (on the right), stay in the left lane and you will pass the Hattiesburg Industrial Park on the left. Less than one mile from Industrial Park, turn left onto Sullivan Road by the electronic message board at the Multi Purpose Center exit. From Meridian, MS Travel South on Interstate 59 to Hattiesburg. Take the US Highway 98 East exit (Exit #59). After merging onto US Highway 98 East, travel approximately two miles and take the US Highway 49 exit for the Mississippi Gulf Coast/Gulfport. Keep left at the fork on the exit ramp and turn left onto US Highway 49 North. Travel approximately one mile and turn right onto Sullivan Road by the electronic message board at the Multi Purpose Center entrance. From New Orleans, LA Take Interstate 10 East approximately 32 miles and merge onto Interstate 59 North at the Interstate 12 West/Interstate 59 North exit. Travel approximately 70 miles on Interstate 59 North and take the US Highway 98 East exit (Exit #59). After merging onto US Highway 98 East, travel approximately two miles and take the US Highway 49 exit for the Mississippi Gulf Coast/Gulfport. Keep left at the fork on the exit ramp and turn left onto US Highway 49 North. Travel approximately one mile and turn right onto Sullivan road by the electronic message board at the Multi Purpose center. From Birmingham, AL Travel South on Interstate 59 to Hattiesburg. Approximately half a mile past the South Hattiesburg exit, take the US Highway 98 East exit. Merge onto US Highway 98 East and travel for approximately two miles. Take the US Highway 49 exit to the Mississippi Gulf Coast/Gulfport. Keep left on the fork on the exit ramp and turn left onto US Highway 49 North. After traveling approximately one mile on US Highway 49 North, turn right onto Sullivan Road at the Multi Purpose Center entrance by the electronic message board. From Mobile, AL Travel west on US Highway 98 to Hattiesburg. Exit at US Highway 49 North. After merging onto US Highway 49 North travel approximately one mile on US Highway 49 North, turn right onto Sullivan Road at the Multi Purpose Center entrance by the electronic message board.

he Forerst County Multi Purpose Center has several outdoor buildings that are used to hold horses and cattle or host family reunions and picnics. Three of the buildings have concrete floors and can hold temporary stalls or have the floor cleared for other event types. Two buildings have dirt floors and contain permanent horse stalls.

Building ?C? and Building ?D? each have 19,200 square feet (100? x 190?) of open show area and can accommodate 102 stalls or 280 cattle ties. Both buildings have concrete floors and are equipped with ceiling fans, electrical outlets at each stall, paging system, indoor wash racks with 24 spaces and covered walkways to other buildings. Building ?C? has restrooms with shower facilities while Building ?D? has office space with restrooms and telephones (ideal for judges).

Building ?E? is a 19,334 square foot building with 15,000 square feet (150? x 100?) of open floor space. The concrete bottomed building is also equipped with ceiling fans, two restrooms with shower facilities, paging system, indoor wash racks with 24 spaces and covered walkways to other buildings. ?E? Barn can accommodate 78 stalls with electrical outlets at each one, has room for 158 5? x 5? hot-dipped metal pens and has additional electrical outlets.

?S? Barn and ?L? Barn each have dirt floors and contain permanent horse stalls. Building ?L? is the larger of the two buildings with 132 stalls while Building ?S? has 96 stalls. Each building has ceiling fans and electrical outlets.

The 120,000 square foot Main Arena is truly multi-purpose. The facility staff specializes in transforming the venue into your personal showplace. Some of the various events the Main Arena has hosted include concerts, rodeos, monster truck shows, motocross races, boat & RV shows, barrel races, circuses, cheerleading competitions and much more.
