"JH Rockn Sauce" aka Dally is a 5 year old AQHA mare. She is one smart and gorgeous mare. 14.3hh tall. She is broke as can be. Soft in the face and works off your leg. Stops on a dime; knows how to sit down and get in the dirt. She is not marish and doesn't pull any stupid stuff (no bucking, biting, kicking). She is quiet to haul and be around. Really, an easy going little mare that knows when it is time to work.
I spent last winter working her on heeling the sled. Come early spring, I started her on live cattle. She is quiet and attentive in the box. She loves to track down cattle. She still needs some fine tuning but she is a fast learner and really enjoys her job.
My wife has hauled her overnight and to barrel races. Nothing phases her. She uses Dally to pony her 16hh barrel horse. She has also ridden her on the roads/trails. Dally will go wherever you point her. She has been started lightly on the barrel pattern.
Fine tune her to your liking this winter and you will be ready to hit the jackpots come spring. She has all the potential to be a superb all around horse. I cannot say enough good things about her. We have young ones coming in the spring and are out of room. I will upload videos as we get them. We both work 50+ hours a week and don't always have time to make it to practice. We do have access to live cattle, an indoor arena and a hot heels to try her on.
No soundness issues. Easy keeper. Currently barefoot. Girl stays fat just looking at hay!
